Jazic to Face Brazil

Despite having just returned from five months on the sidelines through injury, Ante Jazic has been included in Canada's 23-man squad for their upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Panama. The Canucks will face Brazil on May 31 in Seattle and then Panama four days later in Fort Lauderdale.

These matches will serve as a tune-up for Dale Mitchell's team ahead of their upcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, which will be played on June 15 (in Kingston, St. Vincent) and June 20 (in Montreal).

Jazic, who has 22 career caps for Canada, underwent ankle surgery in December and returned to the Galaxy lineup in May 13 when he played 61 minutes in a friendly against Vancouver in Edmonton. He was on the bench but did not play against FC Dallas last weekend and is expected to again be available for selection this weekend against Kansas City before flying to Seattle on Sunday. He is one of six MLS players included in the squad.

Not happy about this one bit.
If he was in form that would be one thing but come on Canada let the guy work himself back into shape first.
