Notes:
· Ante Jazic made his first Galaxy appearance since undergoing ankle surgery in late December. He played the opening 61 minutes before being replaced by Michael Gavin.
· Josh Wicks and Julian Valentin each made their first team debuts for the Galaxy. Wicks played the full 90 minutes in goal while Valentin came on at halftime in place of Greg Vanney.
· Wicks finished the game with eight saves.
· Michael Gavin, Julian Valentin and Bryan Jordan will leave for France tomorrow where they will represent the U.S. Under-23 National Team at the Toulon International Tournament.
· Alan Gordon’s goal was his second in as many games and his third in friendlies this season after also tallying during LA’s preseason friendlies in Seoul and Hong Kong.
· The Galaxy are now 0-1-1 all-time against Vancouver after tying the Whitecaps 0-0 in Vancouver in November 2007.
· The Galaxy’s record in friendlies this season is now 2-2-3, including the two games at the Pan-Pacific Championship, three games at Asia Tour 2008 and a friendly against FC Dallas.
· The attendance for tonight’s game was 37,104.
· The Galaxy are back in action on Sunday, May 18 when they take on FC Dallas at Pizza Hut Park. The match will kick off at 12 p.m. and can be seen live on FSN West and Telefutura.
