Galaxy Rios U-20's Start Season on Sunday

The Galaxy Rios Under-20 team will kick off their inaugural season on Sunday evening when they take on the Ventura County Fusion at 5 p.m. The match will be played at Ventura College (4667 Telegraph Road, Ventura, CA) and we're still waiting to hear if there is a cost for tickets.

Here's the press release announcing the match, as well as giving the U-20's entire schedule for the season.

We'll have more for you about the U-20s as the season goes on.

These aren't the U-20s, but hopefully we'll have as much success as they have.

This is the LA Galaxy of the Birmingham-Bloomfield Soccer Club in Michigan, who are undefeated in 25 games and clearly having a good time in the process.

Galaxy RIOS U-20 has officially begun this year. Nice! It's "way.... way... over-due" [the official announcements and emphases on So Cal Soccer development at the Teenage to Young Adult level]! This will be very good for soccer's future and growth. Congratulations to Trevor James & Paul Bravo for heading and commanding this much-needed direction!!! Love this sport - play HARD!
