Within the next 24 Hours (well, almost) the Galaxy will travel to Seattle, eat, train, meet, eat and play the Seattle Sounders FC, then it is back to LA. Our mission may not be to save the country, but let’s hope we can bring home some points.
It was an early morning for the team as everyone meet at the Long Beach Airport for our Jet Blue flight to Seattle. Check-in went smoothly with guys grabbing coffee and a quick bit before getting one the plane. Jet Blue is always a nice trip with in seat tvs with DirecTV, XM Radio and movies on demand. Below are a few notes from about today’s schedule.
The following takes place between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.

A quick juice and snack before jumping on the flight, with the small airport we were able to check-in and head right to the gate with only a brief wait before boarding our flight.

The following takes place between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Training at Qwest Field
An impressive stadium, the signage around the stadium is split between the Sounders and Seahawks making for a nice feel. The Sounders even turned on the LED boards and the big screen was showing the NBA playoffs. After a little bit of driving around Safeco Field, we finally arrived at X-Box Pitch at Qwest Field for training. Following a long warmup, the players broke up and worked on positioning on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. In addition, the guys went through the many different set plays for tomorrow.
Here is a little sound from after training…

Guys,
Fantastic, first-class training update. Really, a solid, commendable job with this update. Great pics, and the audio was stellar. Really, thanks! I know putting this together is very time-cosuming, and cannot be done always. But, really - if we can see more quality updates like this... it would be fantastic!
I am very glad to hear from the coaches, the emphases and notes going into this important match. Playing on turf is way different from playing on grass. I really hope all of the team got good ball movement minutes in. Next, it is highly important that the team gets a good solid rest tonight, and plenty of time for treatment & prep tomorrow. I want this team to be rested, charged up, concentrating, positioned, and very alert. The key is to be alert, sure, and practiced... Do not falter - do not let them throw our team off of a rhythm. Maintain our movements, our strides, our posession, and we have to execute & finish!!! Our guys must take in the atmosphere and view it as a acknowledgement to their right to play, right to be there, right to be solid and challenging! Good luck, LA Galaxy - steady, focused, fortified, alert, and practiced!
thx for giving us an inside look on what goes on inside the Galaxy!!! keep it up
The NBA playoffs on the big screen doesn't sound very conducive to training the day before a match.

Great updates, but where's the video we all know and love?
