Looking Back At Sunday

Sunday's 1-1 draw in Seattle does not have the same aura that Wednesday's draw in Salt Lake did.

Galaxy played the majority of the second half with a man advantage, but the club was unable to score the go-ahead goal as fatigue began to set in. Playing three games in nine days will do that. But here are two things to keep in mind:

  • Galaxy did remain unbeaten on the road, the club is one of only two in MLS that has not lost on the road so far this season.
  • Galaxy extend their unbeaten streak to six. Their only loss this season came in week three of the MLS schedule, falling 3-2 at home to Colorado.

Here's what some of the players had to say:

i must say i am much happier with tie's than losses. A couple wins and we're right up at the top of the table.
