Day One is in the Books

Under significantly nicer skies than they'll experience today, the Galaxy were out on the field for the first time yesterday.

Take a look...

Thanks for the 1st-day field training video. Many of hte guys seemed a bit winded - understandable. Like I said, it will take several weeks before runs, counter-runs, stamina, timing, coordination comes into sync. So, truly, it's not nearly sixty days - much, much less... Under 40 days - and, a lot has to be accomplished in that tight time-frame. I wish the best for all the guys. Keep the training, practices, fitness up! Do not give up - and, do not back down! Constantly each of them have to prove themselves. And, truly, only those that have the deep-down love and urgency for this beautiful game will see it through to the final 24.

Can't wait to see & hear from Dema - when he joins everyone else on field. Hopefully, we'll have video of that soon! I want to wish a thorough and complete recovery for Sean. Please get well, Sean! All of the guys have to be smartly, carefully, and progressively brought back into fitness, alertness, awareness, and coordination. The passing back-and-forth, keeping the ball, running on, and running off... all of these things have to be repeatedly and constantly addressed. Keep at it Bruce, Dave, and Cobi. Again, I really appreciate the videos of the training sessions. Thanks.
