Tuesday's Training Session Recap

The team looked good during today's training session, with a four goal-drill providing the majority of the highlights.

Steve Cronin, whose offseason was longer than most because of the season-ending injury he suffered last season in New England, was back to his old self and Bryan Jordan scored a nice goal. Omar González looked more comfortable in his second day with the team and Dema Kovalenko appeared to be everywhere, fighting to win what seemed to be every loose ball that got near him.

All-in-all, it was a solid day at work for the boys.

Here are today's pictures.

Guys, thanks for these pics. I was really hoping for a lengthy video. So now, only Donovan Ricketts remain to join the team for pre-season training. Of course, apart from the two most influential members - Landon & David. So much speculation, and theories, and what if's written about them all over the place. I just really hope and want Bruce, Dave, and Cobi to concentrate and dedicate to picking and securing the players that for sure has the tenacity, the will, the determination, the drive, and the professionalism to get things done on the field for an entire MLS season from start to finish. I hope the veteran players brought in are seriously making the mood, the style, the expectation level high & challenging. I believe a lot of the other MLS teams have just started their pre-season camps. And, I've seen that many of them have already put out a very busy pre-season training itinerary. Stay focused and strong Galaxy players - the competition for sure is getting warmed and ready. Practice, Practice, Practice!!!

As a Galaxy fan I am happy to hear updates on the team's training. However I worry about Sean Franklin, the man was THE bright spot for our defense last season. Can you update us on how his rehab from surgery is coming along.
