Big Day for David

Not only was David named in Fabio Capello's 30-man provisional England squad ahead of his country's friendly in France today, it was also announced that a segment featuring him will air this weekend on 60 Minutes.

This interview, which many of you may have seen being taped at the Select A Seat event a couple of weeks ago, will feature David speaking with Anderson Cooper about his life both on and off the field, including his move to the Galaxy last year.

The show will air on CBS this Sunday, March 23, at 7 p.m.

To the commentor's questions above: England is set to play against France at Wembley stadium on March 26th. If David gets selected into the starting 11 by Fabio, then he will play definitely the 1st half. Also, to note... on that same day (Mar. 26th), our US-Men's Senior Nat'l Team will play a friendly against Poland in Krakow, Poland. This means that Landon Donovan would be gone for that game also. And, LA Galaxy's 2008 MLS Season Opener is against Colorado Rapids at Dick's Sporting Stadium on Mar. 29th. Tight, huh? I am seriously praying for NO INJURIES to our players. We have to turn things around in 2008... Not a request - but, a mandate!!!
