New adidas Techfit Uniform

As few of you may have noticed, some of the players were wearing the new 2010 adidas techfit jerseys in yesterday's scrimmage, while other wore training gear. They are the latest techonolgy from adidas and are designed to improve a players endurance, power and speed. On Saturday, adidas did a presentation for the team on the new techfit uniform. You may see some of the players wear these tighter fitting kits this season. A few photos of the new tops.

We hope to have highlights from yesterday's scrimmage later today after training today as some internet connecntions issues prevented us from properly uploading the video this morning. So for now, here are a few shots.

Seriously??? How about a link to the reasoning behind this seemingly absurd statement.

No stars?

Are they wearing replica jerseys?

what was wrong with the old ones? They looked better. True the collars where out of date, but they looked fine! They could have just switched to a crew cut. I just dont like them.

They improve power, endurance, and speed in the same way speedos do the same for swimmers. You don't see Olympic swimmers wearing baggy swim trunks, do you? That being said--the new home kit looks like a training jersey, but they still are one of the sharpest shirts in the league. Could be worse-- see San Jose Smurfs or Houston Dynamo...

New kits are not very fan-friendly. You must be in great shape to wear them which will eliminate 99% of the supporters.

Time for Addidas to put out some supporter-driven garbs out there besides just the jerseys.
