Galaxy to Hold 10 Day Training Camp in Arizona

Next week will be the fourth week of the Galaxy's 2010 preseason, making it the perfect time to get a change in scenery. As a result, the club will pull up stakes and make their way to Arizona for 10 days of training near Phoenix. The club will stay in Arizona until March 1 before returning to LA for the remainder of the preseason.

While there, the club are scheduled to play four scrimmages against MLS opponents, but unfortunately, all of these are currently scheduled to be played behind closed doors.

However, the blog team will be embedded with the team every step of the way, giving you a series of written updates, as well as more photos and video than you will know what to do with.

Well, appreciate the news about continuing pre-season training, fitness, eval, and readiness to take place in Arizona... and, the fact that it's closed door... however, I tried to check often back at LAGalaxy@MLSnet to see if today's session was open-to-public or not... and, as far as I know... that wasn't disclosed. In any case, glad our guys were coming together for a scrimmage and pull-off a win. And, now onto more tougher competition in Arizona.
Remember, we would love to see pics from the scrimmages that are going to take place in Arizona!!!

Doubtful it is closed to the public in AZ. It is at Reach 11 which is a very PUBLIC facility. The Wizards are promoting it as open to the public so which is it? Are you really worried that Kovalenko will get bum rushed by fans? Seriously. What a sad, lazy, approach to promoting MLS in AZ.
