LA-CHI Post-Game Highlights and Audio

The Galaxy's final match of the 2009 preseason is in the books. Here are the highlights:

We checked in on the post-game press conference and heard from Bruce Arena and goalscorer Josh Tudela.

For those of you concerned about Donovan Ricketts, check out what he had to say after the match:

As a bonus, we also got a little sound from Landon Donovan in both english and spanish after the match.

Also, we would like to give a shout out to all of the Angel City Brigade, LA Riot Squad and Galaxians on hand for tonight's match at Sun Devil Stadium. It was a small but very dedicated and vocal group. Well done!

Thanks so much for the speedy highlights! That was a sweet left-footed goal by Josh!

I was at the game last night and we were surrounded by Mexican national team fans. They all went nuts every time Blanco farted.

Honestly, we had more fun booing Blanco than watching the Galaxy.

Ouch. Riot Squad represented as well, only about 10 of us went.

I'm loving the frequency of the guys wearing the "blues", hopefully this will continue into the season....

I know this is off topic but does anyone know what the maximum age of the Sueno MLS competition is? I checked the registration and the birthyear portion gives options as far back as 1909. Is this for teenagers?

The ACB was representing! Many times we had more people looking at us, than the game... Arizona didn't know what hit them. Angel City Brigade owned the place! The team needs a little gel-ing time but we looked more confident than most of last year. Josh is the Man!

In six(6) days, pur LA Galaxy team will face another MLS team in its first 2009 MLS season match. My sincere hope is that the competitiveness, the hard-core instructions and drills, the emphases on accuracy during passing and crossing, plus finishing are not forgotten. This LA Galaxy team must prepare itself mentally to be tough, resilient, sharp, and always fighting. I really hope that our injured players are recovering and will contribute soon. Since the majority of MLS teams are playing ahead of us - I am really hoping that Bruce, Dave, Cobi, Trevor, and Ian are watching all of those matches... taking down notes and pointers for the coming encounters this LA Galaxy team must face. The aim this season is to fully battle and fight to get more wins & draws than losses. That's only going to happen if everyone of the players accept this and takes responsibility. It only takes seconds to lose a match... Do not forget!
