The Galaxy have traded goalkeeper Josh Wicks to D.C. United for a conditional pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft.
Wicks appeared in six games with the Galaxy in 2008, making five starts and tallying a 1-2-3 record with a 2.18 goals against average. The 25-year old made his MLS debut when he came on at halftime of the Galaxy’s 2-2 draw at New England on August 30, replacing the injured Steve Cronin. He earned his first win with the club against D.C. United on September 20, helping lead LA to a 5-2 win.
The 2007 USL First Division Goalkeeper of the Year, Wicks was in goal for the Galaxy in their 2-0 win over Oita Trinita in the semifinals of the Pan-Pacific Championship on February 18.

Guys,
Really, I thank you for providing such timely updates. But, I must warn you - this may end up raising my hopes and expectations for more timely updates. Watch Out!
haha awesome news
is DC trying to make them worse and us better...
so are we going with 2 keepers (Ricketts and Saunders) only or will we add that Benitez guy ?
Thanks for the timely news. This is excellent to see from the blog team. Keep it up.
Good to see Benitez get an opportunity. I have followed Robbie Rodgers (Columbus Crew) and Miguel Angel Benitez since they were 13 they have accomplished a lot locally in the Southern California Area so it will be good to see them both flurish.
Good Future in Goal.
Best Wishes to Wicks :)
i never noticed how much josh looks like cosmo lol
