Now that the groups for the Olympic Soccer teams have been decided... What are MLS's thoughts on the amount of players that will be gone for Olympic training??? The US is placed within a challenging, formidable group. The US Men's Soccer team would have to face against JAPAN, NIGERIA, and NETHERLANDS. JAPAN & NETHERLANDS are countries that have excellent youth academies and development. NIGERIA is coming back in recent years with more faster, stronger players - players that have much to prove. I am sure that Peter Nowak and Staff will absolutely demand early, intense group practices - plus, match-fitness games. Does this mean, our LA Galaxy will NOT have Landon Donovan in the month of August???

I want to wish all of our US National Team players the best of luck - it's an opportunity that these players will not forget. Also, I believe USA has friendlies scheduled in end of May and begining of June. My wife and I would have really liked to attend the USA vs. Argentina friendly that's going to be played at Giants Stadium in New York on June 6th (I think)...
ld, THE man...i absolutely *loved* it (and the commentary of mark rogondino as ld punctuated his goal)! MUCH better 2nd half-beautiful goals and assists. lovin' the klein and beckham hook up and mikey in midfield too.
I was at this game. That goal was incredible it happened right in front of me and the only reason Landon is yelling at him is because Landon was knocked by him pretty hard like two minutes earlier which was an extremely cheap shot.
so, when can we get the wallpaper size of landon screaing on ianni?
