After dropping the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions League Preliminary Round series 4-1 at home last week to the Puerto Rico Islanders, the LA Galaxy will look to resuscitate their Champions League dreams on the road tonight at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
The Galaxy need to score at least four goals in order to have a chance to advance-- a 4-0 win the Galaxy them through to the group stage with a 5-4 aggregate, a 5-2 win would also see the Galaxy advance on away goals (even though the aggregate score would be a 6-6 draw, LA would have five away goals to Puerto Rico's four).
A 4-1 LA win would send the game into extra time-- two 15-minute halves followed by penalty kicks, if necessary.
