Alan Gordon and Eddie Lewis talk about coming back after a week off and getting prepared for the Rapids.
The team just walked out onto the training field for the final training session of the week with a new face amongst them wearing the #16 shirt.
U.S. National Team veteran Gregg Berhalter, recently of 1860 TSV Munich, arrived in Los Angeles last night and will officially be added to the club's roster this afternoon.
Here is the full press release. In order to make space on the roster for Berhalter, the club has place defender Leonard Griffin on the Disabled List, meaning that he will be unavailable for selection for the at least the next six weeks. Griffin underwent sports hernia surgery in Germany last week.

Six easy points and an Open Cup W, go get 'em!!
Thanks to the blog team for breaking the news on Berhalter. This is what we expect from you. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the update. Welcome to the LA Galaxy, Gregg - moreover, welcome back to the US and LA, in particular. Hopefully, you are really looking forward to play wiht the team and do all what you can to help the LA Galaxy succeed in its on-field performances. Hopefully, all the time spent in European football has enhanced and strengthened your football/soccer instincts, skills, and coordination. Play hard - Play strong - Play to win!
who got cut to add berhalter?
Welcome to MLS retirement home for the AGED ex-NATS. Sanneh, Lewis, Berhalter, Kirovski. Arena blew millions on Reyna in NY and now hundreds of thousands on these guys here. It would be a lot cheaper to give these guys their well-earned testimonial matches as they do in other countries. It's more honest too.
Thanks for the video, I expect to see Galaxy goals tomorrow
wow, just wow. Whats the average age of our team now?
I predict goals by Gordo and Donovan. LA 3 COL 1
LA 2 CO 0
