Bowling with the Boys

The Galaxy Corporate Partnerships department hosted their annual Partner Party this afternoon at Lucky Strike in Torrance. All of the players (including the newly signed Jeremy Barlow) and coaches attended the event, which saw the players and coaches join forces with many of the club's top sponsors for a day of bowling.

Spares and strikes were prevalent, as were gutter balls unfortunately, with a few of the guys even turning in a turkey or two. What can we say, we love bowling lingo.

All that we can really say though is that a good times was had by all, as the pictures below will show.

The blog staff got to bowl alongside the coaching staff today and all we know is that both of the guys above passed up careers on the PBA Tour to enter the world of coaching.

Ante and Edson looked as cool as ever, while Wicks was hamming it up on the lanes. You know what they say about all goalkeepers being a bit crazy.

Rookies Ely Allen and Sean Franklin had different forms but equally good results.

But at the end of the day, is there anybody better than the top goalscorer in MLS...we didn't think so.

Nice pics. Hope they're enjoying themselves. Good for comradery and team spirit. May be another "incognito" training method for aligning shot-on-goal... in any case, it's a good family event for the guys, as well. I don't see David. Did he not come to this event?

If anyone gets the chance please go over to the Red Bulls Roster page, may be by Friday, of this week. And, take a look at how many players (of international heritage) Head Coach Osorio has brought in and also in which field positions. All of this possible after Claudio Reyna has retired. This is an organization and a coach who is starting to make their imprint on MLS stage. Well, we'll just have to wait and see what happens on Demolition Saturday this week. Life at the bottom as a floor rug!!!

Tell them not to worry I was at work all day making money to spend watch them get their a$$e$$ kicked again. This was something I didn't need to see hopefully many of them will have success as a pro bowler because they can't perform on a pitch.

Nike or Addidas the cap is UGLY. Doesn't a leading player know it is very impolite for men to wear hats indoors?

Yes, that was true, back when I was a kid in 1960. The world changes. Get over it.
