Back on the Field; Preparations Begin for D.C.

The guys were back on the field today, beginning preparations for Saturday night's all-important home game against D.C. United, who was in action on Tuesday night against Deportivo Saprissa in the CONCACAF Champions League.

Bruce, Dave, Trevor and Cobi put the entire group through a series of drills and small sided games that were quite spirited throughout.

The newly-signed Jeremy Barlow was on the field today and managed to score a few goals, impressing a few of the training session onlookers. He was joined by Josh Saunders (pictured below with Greg Vanney) who was taking part in his first training session with the Galaxy since 2006. Most of the squad was on the field today, including Adzemian and Bolkan, who will remain with the club for the rest of the year now that Portland has been eliminated from postseason contention in the USL First Division.

After the session we caught up with Bruce, Bryan Jordan and Eddie Lewis, who is making his home debut with the LA Galaxy on Saturday.
