The Bruce Arena Era is Officially Underway

We've kicked off at The Home Depot Center with the Galaxy looking to snap an eight-game winless streak and get their first win since June 14.

Here is the team that Bruce has put on the field tonight.

-----------Buddle------------Gordon-------------

Allen----------Vagenas----Pires-------------Klein

Jazic----------Vanney-------Roberts------Franklin

---------------------Cronin------------------------

Subs: Wicks, Dominguez, Valentin, Randolph, Tudela, Munoz, Sesay.

Another insipid, toothless performance. Ely Allen has no vision, Ante Jazic is a decent defender but he constantly boots the ball forward with little purpose. Pete and Pires had zero creativity.

Tonight's game confirmed what we already knew. This squad has no depth. Nice to see Sesay get a run out though.

I do believe that Bruce Arena will have no effect on the team. He has a lot of uphill climbing to do with the lack of depth and players who don't seem like they are playing in a professional league. They would have better luck giving a non paid soccer team the chance to play... The talent in our country has yet to be acknowledged because of the politics that come with soccer. They need to start scouting players that a less fortunate...They have something to play for!
