Send Your Favorite Galaxy Stars to Houston to Face Manchester United in 2010 MLS All-Star Game

While the Galaxy were training today under cold an grey skies here in Carson, the quest to send some of those players to Houston for the MLS All-Star Game began online at mlssoccer.com. The All-Stars will take on Manchester United at Reliant Stadium in Houston on Wednesday, July 28.

In each previous season, the Galaxy have had at least two players named to the MLS All-Star Team, with Landon Donovan and Donovan Ricketts each getting the call last season, though only Donovan played in the penalty shootout loss to Everton at Rio Tinto Stadium.

This year, 12 Galaxy players were included on the league's final ballot, with Donovan Ricketts, Omar Gonzalez, A.J. DeLaGarza, Leonardo, Todd Dunivant, Sean Franklin, Chris Birchall, Michael Stephens, Juninho, Mike Magee, Landon Donovan and Edson Buddle all getting the nod.
