The Galaxy Academy teams were at Manchester City's Academy training ground at Platt Lane on Tuesday for a pair of training sessions under the watchful eyes of former City captain Paul Power, former Premier League star and current City U-18 boss Scott Sellars and a number of his coaches.
They'll all be back out there for today's game, but before we get to that, here is a look back at yesterday's morning session in chronological order.
After arriving at the training ground......the players made their way to the locker rooms to get ready for the day's session......while the coaches went over the final details of what the training would consist of...
The U-16's opened with some one and two touch passing drills......while Paul began breaking down some of the finer points of proper defending with the U-18's.
The U-18's continued on, first with a series of 1v1 defending drills that focused on staying tight to your man and keeping him in front of you...
...before increasing that to more game-like defending/attacking scenarios, which saw the losing team forced to do pushups. There was plenty of instruction going on at the other end of the field as well......with the U-16's playing some 2v2 heading drills and then getting into their possession...
...and small sided games.
Finally, after the session, a few of the guys were sure to have their photo taken in front of the City logo just off the field...
