Major League Soccer today unveiled the First XI for the MLS All-Star Game and it comes as no surprise that Landon was included in the team.
It is the ninth time in his nine-year MLS career that Donovan has been named to the All-Star team and he will be looking to add to his tally of five career All-Star Game goals. No other player has scored more goals in the All-Star Game than Donovan, who was the MVP of the 2001 game.

Congrats, Landon! You deserve it.
Man, I am just drooling at the thought of how deep the All-Star team is for this year. Definitely, some really good, good players. Now, if they can all put it together on the field while ball is in play... that would be sensational. Good luck at the All-Stars 2009 game, Landon. Congrats on getting chosen to represent MLS this year.
