Back Home For First Time Since July 4, Galaxy Look to Knock Off Rivals

For the first time since July 4, the Galaxy are at home where they will face off against the San Jose Earthquakes. This is the first meeting of the season between the two longtime MLS rivals who sit in first and fifth place in the Western Conference.

With another game looming on Tuesday night, Bruce Arena has made three changes to the team that beat D.C. United 2-1 on Sunday, with Dema Kovalenko, Leonardo and Michael Stephens all returning to the first XI. They replace Gregg Berhalter, Chris Birchall and A.J. DeLaGarza who all begin the game on the bench.
