We are looking forward to the CD Aguila match next Sunday- it may not be Barcelona but they are a top side of El Salvadoran futbol, once winning the CONCACAF Champions Cup

Energetic game in 1st and 2nd halves. Our players tried their best to play offensive-minded and try and come up with that 1st half goal; however, Puntarenas players really had their shape down-packed. Midfielders of theirs really helped out in defense a lot. I was indeed quite pleased with the performance from our Brazilian trio. Excellent urgency, pace, and involvement. I could tell Mike Magee, Dema Kovalenko, and Chris Birchall definitely need more time (more practice games 30-40 minutes) to get their fitness where it needs to be. But, all in all, a very good effort by our players for the fans in the pre-season. Great small crowd at Titan Stadium - good to see many LA Galaxy fans there.
I still think our forwards need to be much more hungry - more urgent and opportunistic in front of goal-net... they shouldn't be afraid to hit the ball with power driving it low and fast. We'll see what's going to transpire with this whole CBA deadlock and now looming start date delay and sit-out.
