Can't wait for the Galaxy's season opener against New England on March 27 for live Galaxy soccer at The Home Depot Center? Then come out to the stadium this Sunday to see the LA Galaxy Youth Academy will host Pateadores in a U.S. Soccer Development Academy league match.
The U-16 Academy team will kick-off at noon, followed by the U-18’s at 2:30 p.m. and admission is free.
Don't miss this chance to see the Galaxy stars of tomorrow, this weekend on the stadium field at The Home Depot Center.

Good luck to both academy teams (U-16s and U-18s)! And, good luck to the coaches and assistants, as well. If I'm not mistaken there are new coaches for both levels in this year. By the way, that's last year's picture - there should be one taken this year... after this year's roster has been finalized.
So far, the LA Galaxy Youth Academy teams have not been doing as well as they should be against the pre-professional private youth clubs like: Arsenal FC, Real SoCal, and Nomads SC. By no means is it easy; and, it's not going to be. These great young players have to balance and juggle quite a bit - as their school, family, friends, and soccer are all a priority everyday. Again, much, much credit and appreciation to the parents of these young players. I'm always glad to know that our G's have and support the youth academy, its staff, and especially the parents and the players!
