Beckham Winner Nominated for Goal of the Week

It was quite a weekend for David Beckham.

On Saturday he scored his first-ever goal against Chivas USA, giving the Galaxy a 1-0 win over their rivals, then on Sunday he flew off to England to join his National Team ahead of their upcoming friendly against Slovenia on Saturday and World Cup Qualifier against Croatia at Wembley on the following Wednesday.

Finally, to make things better, his goal has now been nominated for the MLS Goal of the Week award.

Watch the goal below and click here to vote.

Now check out the same goal from a different angle...

Lastly, what are you more impressed by, David's goal from Saturday, or this?

The goal was amazing and what the Galaxy needed, but that shot to the press box was the most amazing thing. It could only be topped if someone had taped the bull's eye shot from several weeks ago. What a legend!!!

That goal hushed all the critics in the stadium that night. That was just what the Galaxy needed. Keep it up David.

What an awesome goal! Right off the post! Only Beckham could make a shot like that.

Of course..that shot to the press box is the MOST amazing out of the two! BUT..if I were to vote for its authenticity..I would go for the Goal coz it was much more DIFFICULT to make in a very tight space and crowded goal. So yeah..I vote for the goal.

But then again..that press box's shot could only be topped by the BULLSEYE shot..which is a shame coz there's NO camera captured its beauty! And yeah..Beckham is just only one of the few people who could make a shot like that at anyday, anytime without preparation! Hahaha..

Oh..lastly..I wasn't wrong in appreciating the goal..coz seeing from that different angle in the vid..it was a very hard goal to make. So yeah..Go BEcks!!
