U.S. Soccer Referee Report Confirms Morales Goal Should Not Have Been Allowed

U.S. Soccer just released their Referee Week in Review, which looks at any tight or controversial moments having do to with officials in MLS during the previous week.

Not surprisingly, one of the moments that they look at in this week's Review is Javier Morales' game-winner for Real Salt Lake against the Galaxy last Wednesday night. And not surprisingly (at least based on the comments we have received) it was judged that referee Edvin Jurisevic and his assistant Frank Anderson erred in not flagging Morales for offside.

Click here to see what they had to say about the goal, to see what the correct interpretation of the play should have been and (if you can stomach it) to see the goal once again.
