Galaxy to Host AC St. Louis in Open Cup Third Round on June 29

The Galaxy will host AC St. Louis in the Third Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday, June 29 at The Home Depot Center. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. with tickets starting at just $10. St. Louis qualified for the game by defeating the NSC Minnesota Stars 1-0 earlier this evening in Blaine, Minn.

Tickets for this game will go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or through the Galaxy by calling 1-877-3GALAXY (342-5299) or by visiting the club’s official website, www.lagalaxy.com. All sections on the West side of the stadium will be open for this game. Sections 107-109 and 113-115 will be General Admission with tickets costing $10 with Reserved Seating in Sections 110-112 for $50.

This will be the first-ever game between the Galaxy and AC St. Louis and LA’s first Open Cup Third Round game since 2007. The Galaxy, who won the Open Cup in 2001 and 2005, have played in the Third Round of the tournament five times, going 4-1 in those games, winning in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 but falling in 2007. From 2003-2006, the Galaxy entered the Open Cup in the Fourth Round.
