Club Statement on Potential Loan Move for Landon Donovan

The following statement is from the Galaxy regarding the current speculation on a potential loan move for the club's captain Landon Donovan.

We are aware of Everton’s interest in Landon Donovan, as they are one of a number of clubs who have contacted the Galaxy about the possibility of a short term loan agreement for Landon. The Galaxy, MLS and Landon’s representative will work together to determine if and whether an arrangement with Everton or any other club would be beneficial to all parties.

Seems to me its the same BS they said when Goldenballs was loaned out the first time to Milan. They are just trying to formally release a statement and line up a interview once he's back in LA .. i think he was in hawaii.

Aren't you aware of the dangers with going to play on loan in England now with the World Cup coming? They are either (A) going to learn your style and strategy, or (B) they are going to hack you down and make sure you aren't able to play in the Cup. I would seriously think about this a little more. I'm sure there's some other league you can go into on loan....PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T GO OVER THERE!!!

You can't be serious. Do you think they even care? He would be a NOBODY in the Prem. If that was the way it worked. Drogba, Torres, Rooney, Gerrard, etc etc etc would be out of the World Cup. Grow up. The US is not the centre of the universe and Donovan who? PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE GO to Everton you deserve each other.
