We're eight hours and thirty minutes away from kickoff here at The Home Depot Center, but preparations are already underway for tonight's US Open Cup Third Round match against AC St. Louis.
On Monday, the club was out on the training fields preparing for a St. Louis club that underwent a coaching change last week-- bringing in Dale Schilly to replace Claude Anelka, the older brother of Chelsea and French National Team forward Nicolas Anelka. Even though St. Louis is in last place of the USSF Division 2 league, the club is currently on a four-game unbeaten streak.
After the training session, Larry Morgan and the LAGalaxy.com staff talked to Bruce Arena and Alan Gordon about the match.
Here's a link to Larry's preview. And learn more about tonight's opposition here.
Because there is no TV or English radio for this game, we will be doing play-by-play on LAGalaxy.com using Cover It Live. All tickets are $10 and parking is free, but if you can't make it out to the game we hope you can join us there.
