Despite a persistent marine layer that has hung over much of the South Bay recently, the skies have cleared each morning here at The Home Depot Center in time for the Galaxy's training sessions.
After a couple of days off at the start of the week, the team was back on the field on Wednesday and held three spirited training sessions heading into tomorrow's game against the Dynamo. Here are a few of the best images from this week's training.
Mike and Tristan survery the scene before a small-sided game.
One of the only players on the team to have played all 990 minutes this season, Omar starts the attack.
All eyes were on Todd when he had the ball at his feet.
Gordo was back on the training field this week and showed off his form with this left-footed drive.
After training on Thursday, Cobi ran through the rules for the finishing game that would end that day's session.
Even Dave got involved and lasted a few rounds before being eliminated.
The goalkeepers did have some luck though, with Josh and Donovan denying a series of would-be goals. Only Josh and Mike Stephens will ever know if this was a goal or a save.
Juninho was back and bouncing out on the field, showing off his lethal right foot.
Sean Franklin might not be known for his left-footed striking abilities, but the third-year player continues to amaze us.
Eddie Lewis made it through to the finals against Chris Klein with a series of perfectly placed left-footed shots.
