Much like the players on the squad did, the blog staff had the weekend off as well-- and we took full advantage of the time off and caught on some great games, like Cameroon-Denmark and Ivory Coast-Brazil.
But it's back to work now, for everybody
The squad returns to the training grounds later today to resume their preparations for its first game in two weeks. The Galaxy's upcoming road trip to Canada to take on Toronto FC could be extended depending on tomorrow's Second Round games of the U.S. Open Cup. If Minnesota beats AC St. Louis, the Stars will host the Galaxy at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn. on Tuesday, June 29. However, if AC St. Louis win that game, the Galaxy will host them on Tuesday, June 29.
But, before we truly turn the page on the weekend, check out the images captured by Robert Mora and German Alegria last Friday at the ESPN Zone viewing parties.

Clint Mathis gave one fan a special surprise autograph. The fan to the left on the photo was involved in a car accident on her way to the U.S.-England viewing party at the Hermosa Beach Pier two weeks ago.
Eddie Lewis was at ESPN Zone at L.A. Live giving out autographs and posing for photos at halftime.
