B-Mac's goal was awesome. So many times this season I have seen players with a clear look at goal pass the ball because the shot was from distance. The fact the B-Mac had the confidence to take the shot says a lot. He is one of our future stars. Are you listening Beckham, have a go every once in a while. The rookie showed you up. 45 yards with a keeper in the run of play beats 60 yards with no keeper any day of the week.

I think it was the Game Guide / Weekly Update at the LA Galaxy MLSnet.com site that had mentioned that there is a make-up Reserve Game tommorow (Wednesday, Oct. 15th) against RSL Reserves. Is that still correct? If so at what time? And, where will the Reserve Game be played? Has Michael Gavin fully recovered from right foot fracture? The latest I read was that he is listed as "Doubtful"? I am hoping that the Reserve Game is played well before the US WCQ against T&T that will be shown at 6 PM PST on ESPN. Can we find out if Leonard Griffin, Raul Palomares, and Tristan Bowen will be available to play for both Reserve games - tommorow against RSL Reserves and on Saturday night against Houston Reserves. Please continue to keep us informed and updated!

Are the coaches drilling into all of the LA Galaxy team about the expectations, the nerves, the requirements for the coming Saturday game against Houston? Playing against Houston is in NO way going to be easy - they are not push-overs! I hope all of the LA Galaxy team are pushed by the caoches to know as much as they can about Houston's main players and devising modes of attack, runs, marking, shapes, formations, etc. Our players from here on out have got to be ready to battle fully without stopping. The only sure way to get into the play-offs is with two wins!!!

Well-deserved congrats to Brandon for getting his first MLS Sierra Mist GOTW! I hope all of the players are as hard-working, as competitive, as filled with energy & passion for LA Galaxy and soccer as he is!
