But amid all of the excitement, Buddle was sure to remember how to properly celebrate a goal.
Take a look...
After beating Kevin Hartman at the near post with a left-footed shot, Buddle began to run toward the corner flag before stopping and accepting a hug from Landon, the man who played Buddle in behind the K.C. defense...

Then he accepted some congratulations from some more of his teammates...

Special thanks to German Alegria and Victor Decolongon of Getty Images for all of the above photos.
The placement of Buddle's left hand upon the tuckus of Donovan is questionable. Other than that, great goal. Especially great timing.
ReplyDeleteincidental contact, no intent, play on !!!!
ReplyDeleteWho is the guy in the far left of the bottom picture? That hair and body type makes him look suspiciously like Peter Vagenas!

ReplyDeleteI believe the person with the amazing cranial resemblence to "Back-Pass" Petey is Mr. Ben Yauss (the head fitness coach).
ReplyDeleteWow - that is uncanny. Hmmm...
Awesome shot... perhaps now we can see more of Buddle and less of Gordon "the donkey". I instinctively bury my head in my hands each time the latter is presented with an open goal.
ReplyDeleteGet used to it! Now that Donovan is gone, Alan and and Edson up top!
ReplyDeletebruce should start jordan and buddle up top against toronto we need the speed
