He'll shove the team out of the way all by himself. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6452882722078260065.post-81732552461736619642010-10-25T19:19:55.920-07:002010-10-25T19:19:55.920-07:00Congratulations LAG! ~ Let's see what u all ha...Congratulations LAG! ~ Let's see what u all have in the Playoffs. It's going to be tough each & every Match. Just take one game @ a time & prepare for it / each one mentally, physically & team wise. Play each & every Match as if it's your last one, b/c it could be. Good Luck guys!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6452882722078260065.post-59827507138134711742010-10-25T11:26:12.070-07:002010-10-25T11:26:12.070-07:00I think the lineup last night is the best they can...I think the lineup last night is the best they can put on the field - maybe substitute Jovan for Magee. The big question for me is defense. Despite giving up a goal they gave away the free chicken tickets after the game maybe because they haven't had a shutout at home in what seems like forever. Gonzalez is obviously solid - the other three are adequate but are they championship material? The clear by Franklin preceding the FC Dallas goal was very poor - can't have this type of play in a playoff game. One thing I don't want to see is Berhalter even if he is healthier - this is a step down from Dunivant, DeLaGalza, Franklin, and possible even Marshall. Anyway a fun game last night and get focused for Seattle.John Fnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6452882722078260065.post-20785181676583391342010-10-24T21:32:39.099-07:002010-10-24T21:32:39.099-07:00Really awesome! I admit, I was annoyed last night that RSL came back to draw in the last few minutes, but then at the same time...it does feel good to get the shield with a win rather than just because another team lost. I'm proud of the guys for coming back and pulling it off.

Now time to prepare for Seattle - going to have to really tighten up, though. Let's have another 4-0 win like earlier in the year :)Alisonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6452882722078260065.post-17007551573809207292010-10-24T21:20:16.179-07:002010-10-24T21:20:16.179-07:00CONGRATS to this team for bringing back the Suppor...CONGRATS to this team for bringing back the Supporters Shield to our town! Thanks to Bruce, Dave, Beckham, Edson, Ricketts, Juninho, and Landon for being the driving force behind this much awaited honor and win! BRAVO, LA Galaxy team - BRAVO!!!
They (FC Dallas) put us on the back heel and under pressure from the starting whistle... and, things just kept on getting chippier and chippier; and, that is why I love it when Dema is in there causing their star players to be upset & unbalanced.
We're still many, many minutes away from being quicker and together with attacking creativity and momentum... We're still slwo to move the ball into attack; partly due to how much pressure our opponents put on us; partly because we NEVER get the benfit of the doubt and calls going our way; but, more-so because our attacking core players have NOT gotten to the level of being threatening & creating quickly in seconds... not, in 4-5 seconds, when it's already too late.
MikeyM beings about a much different avenue of attack; it's good; but, still not good enough, if we are to be the BEST in the WEST! Right now, clearly RSL have the players to make offense happen way more quickly.
The one thing I am happy about in retrospect is that the weather and the opponent served as great, great warm-up and practice for waht we should face & expect up in Seattle at Qwest Field. It was slippery, wet, chippy, and hi-tempo. Good, because our players needed to witness the speed of opponents attack. They (Seattle) have Freddie Montero, Nate Jacqua, Steve Zakuani, and the more confident Sanna Nyassi now... So, they are just as ready to torch us as FC Dallas was tonight.
Being victorious in sports does mean being lucky with selections - but, also passion, fire, heart, drive, and preparedness, preparedness, preparedness. Now, is NO time to let the agressiveness, tactics, formations, spacing, and physical attributes slide; we did the things necessary to get this far; please LA Galaxy do NOT give up or quit now!!!charlesj27noreply@blogger.com
